Manage or cancel an Apple-billed subscription

The iOS app is coming soon (iOS first, Android later). The web app works in any browser now.

When a subscription is billed through the iOS app, Apple bills you, so AircraftMX can't change or cancel it for you. In AircraftMX you'll see the notice "This aircraft is billed through Apple."

Manage or cancel on your iPhone

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap AircraftMX.
  4. Choose another plan, or tap Cancel Subscription.

When the iOS app is out, you can also tap Manage Subscription in AircraftMX. While it opens, the label is Opening…. If it cannot open, the message says you can also manage it in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. The notice reads Billed through Apple. Manage in iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Switching to web billing

While an aircraft is billed through Apple and that subscription still grants access (active, trialing, or past due inside the grace window), the app does not offer web checkout, plan changes, or cancel. Web checkout is offered again once that Apple subscription no longer grants access. Manage the Apple subscription in iPhone Settings.
